a typical day in quarantine

In the summer of 2020, I decided to make the most of my resources, and I haven’t looked back since. Using my Canon camera and whatever else was at hand, my camera became my vessel to explore the world and gain access to incredible experiences, places, and people.

Venue
Trilith Foundation Event

As part of my work with Dangling Carrot, where we create movie props for the film industry, I led the stage design for our exhibit at the Trilith Foundation event during the Real People Care Gala. I designed the exhibit to showcase our craftsmanship by incorporating intricate prop pieces that reflected the artistry behind our work. The setup featured sleek, cinematic elements with interactive displays, highlighting our role in the film industry while aligning with the innovative and compassionate mission of the gala.

Voltron Assemble

Using the resources available at my university, I created this impressive Voltron model entirely out of cardboard. I meticulously designed the coloring and imaging using Adobe Illustrator, ensuring every detail matched the iconic look of Voltron. The project took about five months to complete, from initial sketches to the final assembly of the model. Additionally, I spent an extra month documenting and capturing the entire process to share my journey. The unhinged edits, raw humor, and scrappy approach make it feel like a rare DIY adventure!
